Pipelayer

Job Description: JobMatcha are seeking an experienced and reliable Pipelayer. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining underground piping systems for water, drainage, and sewage as part of infrastructure and groundwork projects. Key Responsibilities: * Install pipes to line and level from drawings and site plans * Excavate and prepare trenches safely and to required specifications * Align and connect pipe sections using hand tools or machinery * Ensure proper backfilling and compaction * Work closely with machine operators, groundworkers, and engineers * Comply with health and safety regulations on-site Requirements: * Proven experience as a pipelayer in civils or groundworks * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Good understanding of pipe levels and laser setup * CSCS/CPCS card preferred * Strong work ethic and attention to detail
