Job Title: Fire Door Installer / Remedials Engineer Location: Contracts across North & East London (primarily Social Housing) Salary: £37,000 – £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Company Van Fuel Card Hours: Monday to Friday (optional overtime available on Saturdays) About Us We are a family-run business specialising in the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of fire protection solutions. The Role We are seeking an experienced Fire Door Installer / Remedials Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and remedial works of fire doors across social housing contracts in North and East London. Key Responsibilities Installing new fire doors to a high standard in line with regulations and manufacturer guidelines. Carrying out remedial works and maintenance on existing fire doors. Completing associated carpentry works as required. Undertaking fire-stopping works (desirable but not essential). Ensuring all work is compliant with health & safety and fire safety standards. Delivering excellent customer service to residents and clients. Requirements Previous experience installing and maintaining fire doors (essential). NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (ideal, but not essential with the right experience). Knowledge of fire safety and fire-stopping works (advantageous). Clean UK Manual Driving Licence (essential). Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Benefits Competitive salary (£37,000 – £42,000 PA, dependent on experience).
