Quantity Surveyor – Drywall, Ceilings & Partitions Salary: £60,000–£75,000 Package (DOE) We’re working with a well-respected specialist subcontractor operating across London and the South East, who are currently looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This business has built an excellent reputation in the interiors sector, delivering high-quality drywall, suspended ceilings, and partitioning packages on a wide range of commercial, residential, and healthcare projects. The Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take commercial responsibility for a number of live projects, ensuring that all financial aspects are effectively managed from procurement through to final account. Working closely with project managers and directors, you'll help ensure projects are delivered on budget and to programme, whilst maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities: * Overseeing the commercial performance of multiple interior fit-out projects * Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts * Managing procurement of subcontractors and materials * Monitoring project budgets and cost reports * Ensuring timely submission of applications and payments * Working under JCT contract frameworks * Liaising with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle About You: * Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role * Proven background in drywall, ceilings, partitions, or similar interior systems * Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the construction process * Competent with contract administration (particularly JCT) * Proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously * Excellent communication and negotiation skills What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary dependent on experience (£60k–£75k) * Additional package including travel and performance-related bonus * Opportunity for long-term development within a growing and stable business * Exposure to prestigious projects across London and the South East * Supportive and collaborative working environment If you're a commercially driven Quantity Surveyor looking to join a well-established interiors contractor with a reputation for quality and reliability, we’d love to hear from you.
