What you need to know Hours : 35 per week. Contract type: Fixed Term until 31.03.27 Pay details: The listed salary is for a full-time role. If you’re applying for a part-time or bank job, we will calculate your pay on a pro-rata basis. Location: City-wide, with your main base discussed at interview. What you’ll do As a Libraries and Communities Officer, you’ll be a part of the Inclusion and Employability team, reporting to the Inclusion and Employability Manager. You’ll play an essential role in supporting economically inactive, low income and unemployed clients to develop skills, access sector specific training, and gain workforce experience to secure employment in high-demand sectors. You’ll be responsible for the Intermediate Labour Market element of a new project which will focus on supporting trainee interpreters, providing day to day management and support to trainees which will include working with programme partners to arrange training and equipment for participants. You will work closely with the Libraries and Communities Coordinator to develop the programme, preparing monitoring and progress reports for the Coordinator, programme funders and partners.
