Stockman/General Farmworker

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for stock and rural living There are 80 breeding cattle and 100 plus sheep, spring calving and lambing. Full time permanent position. Full UK driving licence required. We offer a competitive salary and pension, with a good cottage and vehicle for work duties. The nearest town is 30 minutes away, with good schools and doctors locally. Responsibilities include, but not restricted to : Daily feeding and care of cattle and sheep Preparing stock for market and arranging transport General farm maintenance The ability to operate farm machinery safely Seasonal tasks as required, silage mowing, baling and wrapping. Topping, rolling, spraying, spreading fertiliser etc. Keeping all equipment in good , clean working order. Management of the pastures.
