Facades Quantity Surveyor

Job Title Requirement: Quantity Surveyor - Facades Location: RM, Essex Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 DOE Hill McGlynn Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor from a Facades background to join our client's dynamic team in Essex on a permanent basis. This role involves managing commercial aspects of façade projects from inception to completion, ensuring cost control, procurement, and contractual compliance. The successful candidate will liaise closely with project teams, suppliers, and clients to deliver high-quality projects within budget and timescale parameters. A strong understanding of façade systems, substructure, and cladding materials is essential, along with proven experience in quantity surveying within the construction sector. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within façade or related sectors Knowledge of façade systems, cladding, or curtain walling preferred Excellent cost control, negotiation, and contractual skills Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams Experience working on large-scale commercial or construction projects in Essex or surrounding areas Ability to prepare and analyse reports, budgets, and tenders Relevant professional qualification such as RICS qualification is desirable In return, the company offers a competitive salary package, opportunities for career progression, and the chance to work on prominent façade projects within Essex.
