Area Project Manager

Ref: JP1622 Role: Area Projects Manager – South/Southeast England Industry: Electrical Manufacturing Location: South of the UK Salary: Up to £48k DOE bonus, company car, pension & benefits Are you an ambitious sales professional with field sales or business development experience in the electrical wholesale or manufacturing sector? Do you want to work for a market-leading manufacturer known for high-quality, reliable electrical products? Due to growth, our client is seeking an Area Projects Manager to cover the South of the UK. You will manage projects and opportunities from initial contact through to ordering, reporting directly to the National Project Manager. This is a hybrid role: 2 days home-based and 3 days visiting clients, with travel across your designated area. Applicants should be based in the South of the UK. Key Responsibilities: * Build and maintain relationships with developers, specifiers, housing associations, installers, and other commercial clients * Drive opportunities within new build developments * Conduct site and regional office visits to present products and provide technical support * Maintain an accurate CRM database of activity * Provide regular progress reports and updates within your area * Follow up on leads provided by the internal support team Candidate Requirements: * Proven field sales experience, ideally within the electrical wholesale/manufacturing sector * Experience with renewable products is a plus * Strong understanding of sales principles, marketing strategies, and industry trends * Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills * Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project management abilities * Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to handle multiple tasks Up to £48k DOE Bonus scheme Company car Pension scheme Other benefits as offered by the company Opportunities for career progression All applications are treated in the strictest confidence.
