Clinical Negligence Solicitor

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a leading, award-winning law firm based in York . This is a senior-level role, ideal for someone ready to progress their career in a supportive and fast-paced environment. In this position, you'll work closely with both a Senior Associate and a Director on complex, high-value clinical negligence claims. Alongside this, you will manage your own caseload of around 40 lower-value and less complex matters, covering a broad range of medical negligence issues. You’ll be responsible for handling files from the initial case assessment through to investigation, evidence collection, pre-action procedures, issuing proceedings and litigation through to trial. Throughout, you'll receive full supervision, support and training from experienced members of the team. To be considered for this role, you should be a Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, Trainee Solicitor, or an experienced Paralegal with prior experience managing your own clinical negligence caseload. Applications from both Claimant and Defendant backgrounds will be considered. A strong attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach to case management are essential.
