Mechanical Supervisor

Time 4 Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Mechanical Supervisor. The client we are working with is a blue chip, national M&E and property Services Contractors covering a wide selection of sectors including residential, education, commercial, health and defence. The role will be based out of their Bristol office. The Mechanical Supervisor will be assisting the Project Manager looking after the M&E packages on projects is and around Bristol and the Southwest. As Mechanical Supervisor you will be joining an established company that is already a market leader nationally. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities & Duties: The main duty is to oversee installation work conducted by mechanical tradespeople. A Mechanical Supervisor conducts inspections, ensuring the safety procedures are being adhered to with each project. • Day to day coordination of labour and subcontractors on site • Coordination of services • Participation in ordering labour and materials • Health & Safety • Tools Box Talks & Site Inductions • Ensuring works run to programme • Site meetings with client and contractors • Quality Assurance The ideal candidate: • Have a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role • Hold a current SSSTS /SMSTS and CSCS • Must have experience working on Mechanical Projects over £2M • Experience in looking after the entire Mechanical project (all aspects) • Experienced in running a group of operatives/engineers • Passionate and motivated in the workplace • Strong communication skills • A willingness to develop their career and to strive towards promotion
