We're Hiring: Estimator | London The Role Are you an experienced Estimator with a proven track record in main contracting? We’re working with a number of innovative contractors operating across London and the surrounding regions, delivering high-quality projects in sectors including commercial, residential, education, and healthcare. ✅ Key Responsibilities * Oversee projects to ensure costs remain in line with forecast, providing recommendations for reducing costs where possible * Analyse Drawings, specications and documents to provide accurate cost assessments. * Calculate the cost of materials, transport, labour, equipment and overheads. * Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, selecting the most competitive options. * Collate a detailed price list of all requirements needed on each construction project and produce a cost summary * Keep up to date with inflation, exchange rates and projected timescale costs * Present bids to clients and adress any concerns regarding cost, scope or timeline. * Assess and adhere to all risk assessments and health and safety requirements * Organise, control and maintain tender documents throughout building process. * Liaise with construction managers, planners, design teams * The individual must conduct themselves in a proffessional manner that alines with company values when making visits to proposed construction sites About You * Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Estimator role * Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction processes * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Experience across a range of sectors (e.g. commercial, residential, education, healthcare) is highly desirable Location: London Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 car allowance benefits Start Date: ASAP (notice periods respected) Ready to take the next step in your career?
