Site Manager - Construction * Main Contractor – Industrial Projects * Freelance: Up to £280 per day CIS * Duration: 8 Months * Based: Wolverhampton We are currently searching for a Site Manager to join a national main contractor a manufacturing facility project they are delivering in Wolverhampton. They will be overseeing the full works package from groundworks through to handover and as Site Manager you will have exposure to all elements of the build. The role: * Plan and manage all site activities, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. * Oversee day-to-day operations on-site, managing internal and subcontractor teams, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. * Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and ensure safe working practices are followed. * Organise and manage plant, machinery, and materials required for groundworks activities, ensuring efficient use and minimizing downtime. * Liaise with site managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of tasks and address any issues or changes. * Address and resolve issues that arise during the groundworks phase, including technical challenges, delays, or material shortages. * Maintain accurate records of progress, quality inspections, daily site reports, and any variations to scope. Required: * 4 years site management experience with industrial experience being beneficial. * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are essential.
