Senior Electrical Project Engineer London £425–£500 per day | Immediate Start | Freelance Contract Our client is a leading M&E Contractor with a £200m turnover, delivering high-profile projects across mixed-use, high-end residential, and commercial sectors. With projects ranging in value up to £40m M&E, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join their London team on a long-term contract basis. The Role As Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the electrical packages from pre-construction through to project completion (PC), ensuring works are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities: * Overseeing the design development, coordination, and delivery of electrical systems. * Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants. * Providing technical expertise and solutions during the pre-construction phase. * Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications. * Monitoring progress, reporting to the Project Manager, and driving delivery. * Supporting testing, commissioning, and handover activities. About You * Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). * Proven experience delivering large-scale M&E projects (£20m–£40m). * Strong track record working across high-end residential, mixed-use, or commercial developments. * Ability to manage projects from pre-construction through to completion. * Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset
