Fit Out Site Manager - Joinery Background Based in Swadlincote | Projects across the Midlands & North of England Permanent or Freelance | £240 - £ 250 per day We're looking for a hands-on Fit Out Site Manager with a strong joinery background to lead retail fit out projects across the Midlands and North of England. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering quality finishes, knows their way around drawings, and can keep sites running smoothly from start to snag. What You'll Be Doing Overseeing day-to-day site operations on fast-paced fit out projects Reading and interpreting technical drawings and joinery details Coordinating trades, suppliers, and deliveries to meet tight deadlines Ensuring health & safety compliance and maintaining site standards Liaising with clients, project managers, and subcontractors Managing snagging, handovers, and quality control What You'll Need Proven experience in fit out and joinery (ideally retail) SMSTS certification (essential) Ability to read and work from drawings confidently Own van and tools (essential) First Aid certification (preferred) Strong communication and organisational skills Willingness to travel across the Midlands and North of England ✅ What's On Offer Competitive day rate or salary depending on experience Long-term pipeline of projects with reputable clients Supportive team and clear project briefs Opportunity to work on high-quality fit outs with autonomy Please apply with your CV or call us on (phone number removed) IND1
