Senior Estimator / Estimating & Infrastructure Manager Location: Cornwall (Office-Based) Employment Type: Permanent Are you an experienced Estimator looking to take the next step in your career? We’re recruiting for a Senior Estimator / Estimating & Infrastructure Manager to join our team in Cornwall. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in pre-construction, commercial strategy, and infrastructure delivery. In this role, you’ll take the lead on cost planning, benchmarking, subcontractor procurement, and third-party coordination while driving value for money and ensuring projects hit their margin targets. You’ll also act as a mentor, supporting and developing the next generation of commercial professionals. What you’ll be doing: * Leading cost plans, estimates, benchmarking and cash flow forecasting. * Overseeing COINS pre-con development, BoQ preparation and measurement software. * Managing subcontract procurement for groundworks and infrastructure. * Coordinating with banks, housing associations, and joint venture partners. * Driving commercial insights, delivering margin, and supporting rental developments. * Working on special projects, including VFM, prelims and aftercare. * Acting as a mentor and training champion within the commercial team. What we’re looking for: * Proven experience as an Estimator within construction or civil engineering. * Strong knowledge of infrastructure, groundworks, and cost management. * Proficiency in COINS and measurement software. * Excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills. * A collaborative leader with the ability to mentor and guide others.
