Electrical Site Manager

Job Title: Electrical Manager Location: Hackney, London Rate: £300 per day Start Date: ASAP Project Type: Large-Scale Residential Scheme Contract Type: Freelance Our Client: We are working on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded M&E contractor delivering projects for a Tier 1 main contractor. With a solid pipeline of work secured for the next 12 months, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to join their team on a landmark residential scheme based in Hackney. The Role: As the Electrical Manager, you will take ownership of the electrical delivery on-site, reporting into the Project Manager. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating electrical sub-contractors, ensuring quality standards are met, and that works are delivered in line with programme and health & safety requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and coordinate electrical installation works on a large residential project * Manage and supervise electrical sub-contractors * Monitor progress and report against programme * Ensure works are completed to required standards and in compliance with regulations * Liaise with other trades and attend coordination meetings * Assist with inspections, snagging, and handover processes * Enforce health & safety standards across the electrical works Requirements: * Proven experience as an Electrical Manager on large-scale residential projects * Strong knowledge of building services and M&E coordination * Experience overseeing sub-contractors on fast-paced sites * SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS and ideally First Aid certified * Able to read and interpret technical drawings * Strong communication and leadership skills What’s on Offer: * £300 per day (CIS/Umbrella) * Ongoing freelance opportunity with long-term prospects * Work with a respected M&E contractor on a high-profile project * Supportive and structured site environment
