Quantity Surveyor Location: Southwark, London Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £65,000 per annum About the Role Our client, a long-established and respected specialist construction contractor in London, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the Commercial Lead across their Contracts Division, with a focus on social housing refurbishment programmes. This is an opportunity to take ownership of key projects, drive commercial performance, and work with a professional and collaborative team. Key Responsibilities * Monthly preparation and updates of Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) * Weekly measurement and valuation validation * Procurement and management of subcontractors and supply chain partners * Maintain and update the commercial risk register * Participate in cost reduction and value engineering strategies * Support contract reviews and cost reporting initiatives Requirements * Professional qualification or demonstrable experience in quantity surveying * Proven track record in managing project finances and subcontractor accounts * Experience in public sector frameworks, especially social housing, preferred * Knowledge of NEC and JCT forms of contract * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Benefits * Competitive salary package * Projects across Greater London and the South East * Work with an experienced and supportive team * Opportunities for career development and progression
