Backup Driver

Job Purpose To provide safe, efficient, and timely delivery and collection of equipment and materials to and from sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures. The Backup Driver will also support site teams and the procurement function by assisting with stock management and maintaining high standards of reliability and safety. Key Responsibilities * Delivering and collecting equipment and materials to and from sites. * Safely towing trailers and plant. * Following health and safety procedures when loading and unloading vehicles. * Supporting the procurement team with reordering stock and completing stock inventories. Candidate Specification * Commitment to health and safety at all times. * Strong track record of reliable attendance. * Ability to use basic IT programmes (Excel, Word, Outlook). Essential Qualifications * Full driving licence. * Licence to tow trailers and plant. Desirable Qualifications * Water Hygiene certificate. * First Aid certification. * Slinger/Signaller. * Telehandler Operator. * NPORS Traffic Marshal or Banksman
