Support for Learning Assistant (Complex Care) - FLK13251

Job Advert Falkirk Council are looking to recruit a Support for Learning Assistant (Grade E) for the Thistle Wing and Annexe which is a provision for children with severe and complex additional support needs within Kinnaird Primary School. You will provide support for teachers and pupils to enhance pupil well-being, engagement and achievement. Undertake a range of whole school support activities and pupil support with regard to pupils’ complex healthcare needs, language and communication needs, as well as general supervision and safety for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties and/or physical impairment. Good communication skills are essential and the role will require supporting children with severe and complex additional support needs. You should enjoy working as part of a team. Experience in this sector is not always required, but we look forward to welcoming people who are nurturing, loving and patient. Extensive training will be provided throughout your time here. You will work 30 hours per week on a term time basis. Your working pattern will be Mon-Fri 9am-3.30pm. If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
