Location: Ashby De la Zouch Rate: £15.50 per hour Start Date: 22nd September (must be available to start on this date) Duration: 14 months (potential to extend if works continue) Requirements: * Valid CSCS card * Fluent English (essential for communication and safety) * Local to site preferred (to support reliability) * References from similar roles required * High reliability – punctuality is critical Benefits: * Free parking on site * PPE provided * Additional minor training courses provided where required Role Overview: This is a long-term opportunity for a Gateman / Bankman to support a major construction project. The right person will be a key support to the site manager in managing site logistics, vehicle movements, and general site duties. Typical Responsibilities: * Opening site gates from 7:00am * Booking in vehicles and overseeing safe offloading * Greeting visitors on arrival * Tidying and moving materials around site * Working with forklift drivers to move and organise deliveries * Enforcing site rules (e.g. wheel washing before vehicles leave site) * Managing site storage cabin and accepting small deliveries * Preventing congestion and maintaining site organisation * Supporting the site manager with logistics and day-to-day site operations Hours: * Typical working day: 7:00am – 4:30/5:00pm * Average 46 paid hours per week (overtime may be available) * Early finishes may be permitted depending on site activity GDPR Consent: By applying for this role, you consent to your CV and personal details being shared with our client for recruitment purposes only.
