Accountant (Automotive Industry)

Accountant Kempton park Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate financial reports and statements (IFRS-compliant). Manage fixed assets, debtors, and creditors. Reconcile payments, balances, stock, and resolve discrepancies promptly. Oversee expense control and risk management at branch level. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly journals; maintain general ledger accuracy. Review stock counts and monitor cash sales in parts/workshop. Control branch financial activities and ensure adherence to policies. Support junior staff and proactively suggest accounting improvements. Minimum Requirements: BCom Degree in Accounting (or similar). Minimum 3 years accounting experience, preferably in the motor industry. Code 8 drivers license. Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented and accurate. Confident, proactive, able to work independently and in a team.
