About the role SSA Talent Solutions Pte. Ltd. is seeking well-experienced and strategic Head of HR for a large Telco Company with established operations in Singapore, Malaysia, and Nepal. In this senior leadership role, you will serves as the operational people leader responsible for establishing comprehensive HR frameworks, supporting performance and talent management initiatives, and ensuring rewards equity and compliance across the group's diversified portfolio. This role combines hands-on HR operations with strategic support, focusing on building scalable people practices that enable business growth while fostering positive workplace cultures. Operating in a lean organizational structure, this role requires broad HR expertise and the ability to function effectively across multiple jurisdictions while building foundational HR capabilities. This is a full-time position based in the East Region. What you'll be doing o Strategic HR Leadership & M&A Integration · Implement comprehensive people strategies across the group, establishing foundational HR policies, frameworks, and scalable practices that support rapid business growth and portfolio expansion · Serve as trusted advisor to the Group CEO and senior leadership on all people-related matters, providing strategic insights on organizational design, talent planning, and culture development · Manage strategic recruitment and executive search initiatives for Group-level positions, developing a robust talent pipeline and leadership bench to support the organization's expanding scope and portfolio growth ambitions · Implement diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies that support business objectives and regulatory compliance o HR Operations & Compliance · Manage full spectrum HR operations including payroll, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle management · Ensure compliance with employment legislation across Singapore, Malaysia, and Nepal jurisdictions · Oversee employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes · Oversee maintenance of HR records, contracts, and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements · Support HR budgeting and cost management activities o Talent Management & Development · Support talent acquisition strategies and manage recruitment processes across the group · Implement and manage performance management systems, linking to rewards pay cycle · Support succession planning initiatives, with linkage to internal talent bench and external headhunting · Support learning and development programs and capability building across portfolio companies · Manage compensation and benefits frameworks ensuring market competitiveness · Support career development pathways and talent retention strategies o HR Strategy Support & Policy Implementation · Support implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices across the group · Support workforce planning and organizational design initiatives · Assist in developing employee engagement strategies and culture initiatives · Support change management during business expansion and transformation · Contribute to evaluation of HR metrics, analytics, and reporting for management decision-making · Support quarterly HR metrics reviews, Business Planning, and strategic people planning sessions with sr. stakeholders · Provide expert advice on people governance and policies, compliance, and risk management across multiple jurisdictions o M&A People Support · Support HR due diligence activities for potential acquisitions · Assist in cultural assessment and people integration planning · Support post-merger integration activities and employee communication · Help harmonize HR policies and practices across acquired companies · Support employee retention and engagement during transition periods o Digital HR & Process Optimization · Support implementation of HR technology and digital solutions · Drive process automation and efficiency improvements in HR operations · Support HR data management and analytics capabilities · Champion digital-first approaches to employee experience and self-service · Support continuous improvement initiatives in HR service delivery o Stakeholder Partnership & Communication · Support the Group CEO and senior leadership on people matters · Partner with portfolio company leaders on HR initiatives and challenges · Support board reporting on people metrics and HR compliance matters · Collaborate with finance teams on people budgets and workforce planning · Maintain relationships with external HR vendors and service providers What we're looking for A. Essential Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field · 12-15 years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated operational and strategic exposure · Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Singapore, Malaysia, and Nepal · Experience in digital business environments with understanding of technology sectors · Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills · Proven ability to work independently in lean organizational structures B. Preferred Qualifications · Professional HR certification (SHRM-SCP, CIPD, or equivalent) · Experience supporting M&A activities or business integration · Previous exposure to multi-business or investment group environments · Experience with HR technology implementation and change management · Advanced degree or MBA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred C.
