Overview: Landscape Specialist- Full Time RiverWoods Exeter is currently hiring for an experienced Landscape Specialist to come and join our team! This is a Full Time benefits eligible position. The Landscape Specialist is responsible for the care, safety and appearance of the grounds, and associated equipment and vehicles. This includes routine landscape maintenance including planting, mulching, edging, plant removals, mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, sweeping, and other such tasks. It also may include snow removal, plowing shoveling and otherwise clearing and treating roadways, parking areas, walkways, stairways, and cleaning resident cars. A reliable, hardworking staff member with a willingness and desire to learn and the ability to follow directions who is respectful and helpful to others Works unsupervised, either alone or with others, and makes responsible decisions Communicates effectively and keeps a variety of tasks organized and delivered on-time Perform routine landscape maintenance including planting, mulching, edging, mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, sweeping, plant removals, seasonal clean-up and other such tasks. Performs advanced landscape maintenance tasks including, plant selection, plant healthcare, garden renovations, landscape plan reading and calculations. Performs and leads snow removal including: clearing and treating roadways, parking areas, walkways, stairways, other areas and cleaning resident cars. Liaises with resident committees on plans, purchasing, installation and maintenance Ability to complete complex work orders in consultation with residents and staff Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Valid driver’s license 3 years of previous Landscape and Snow Removal (plowing) experience, 5 years preferred Ability to obtain a DOT medical card Ability to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle Green SnowPro Certification a plus Training and/or industry certification(s) in landscaping Competence with relevant computer programs and electronic devices Horticulture degree a plus RiverWoods Group: Northern New England’s Largest Family of CCRCs Three Communities, One Philosophy: Providing Community and Peace of Mind Since 1994, every day we honor our founding premise: we are here to make things better.
