Yard Supervisor

Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting for a hands-on Yard Supervisor to join a busy scaffolding operation in Gray’s. This role is key to keeping the yard running efficiently, supporting a small team, and ensuring everything is ready for next-day deliveries. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and support a team of 3-yard operatives – Provide guidance, delegate tasks, and ensure the team works safely and efficiently throughout the shift. * Coordinate loading of 10–12 lorries per shift – Oversee operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards. * Manage lorry checkoffs and paperwork – Verify loads, inspect documentation, and report any issues to maintain operational standards. * Keep the yard clean, safe, and organised – Prepare the yard for smooth next-day operations, ensuring all equipment is stored correctly and safety requirements are met. Requirements: * Previous experience in yard operations and management * Good communication and team leadership skills * Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious This is a practical, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team and taking ownership of day-to-day operations. £150–£160 per day (paid via CIS) 14:30 – 21:30 (Job & Knock) If you are interested in more details please apply today
