Field Service Engineer

We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a specialist business supplying and servicing air conditioning service machines for the automotive and agricultural sectors. This is a varied, hands-on role combining technical support, training delivery, and business development. You’ll work closely with the internal service and training team to keep customers’ equipment running smoothly, as well as installing new units and delivering accredited training. This is a field-based role covering the North of England and Scotland. Please note: Flexibility for overnight stays is required. About the Company Our client is a long-established supplier of air conditioning regas units and service solutions to the agricultural and automotive sectors. They pride themselves on delivering high standards of customer service, backed by knowledgeable staff and a comprehensive product range. What you’ll be doing * Servicing, repairing and installing air conditioning service machines * Delivering and assessing accredited training courses * Providing technical advice and support to customers * Identifying new opportunities and developing long-term client relationships * Attending trade events, demos and exhibitions when required * Keeping vehicle stock levels and paperwork accurate and up to date What we’re looking for * Good understanding of air conditioning regas systems * City & Guilds mobile air conditioning qualification (or equivalent) * Previous experience in sales or customer-facing technical support * Background in the automotive or agricultural sector would be an advantage * Confident communication, organisation and problem-solving skills * Willingness to travel with overnight stays when required * Full UK driving licence Why this role?
