We’re Hiring – Two Part-Time Receptionists Location: Chelmsford, Essex, CM3 2HB Salary: £12.21 per hour (initially) Closing date: 12/09/2025 We’re looking for two part-time Receptionists to join a friendly and supportive Practice team. Vacancy One: 17 hours per week Thursday: 8am–5pm Friday: 8am–5pm Vacancy Two: 15 hours per week Monday: 8am–1pm Wednesday: 1:30pm–6:30pm Friday: 8am–1pm About the Role As a receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, providing a warm welcome, ensuring access to the right services, and keeping our systems accurate and up to date. This is a vital, fast-paced role at the heart of the Practice. Main responsibilities include: Greeting and directing patients Managing appointments and appointment cards Handling prescriptions, forms, and other documentation Answering calls promptly and professionally Registering new patients Supporting colleagues with chaperoning requests Promoting online services and digital access to healthcare Assisting with patient queries, problems, and complaints What we’re looking for Confident communicating with the general public Calm under pressure and able to multitask Strong IT skills and willingness to embrace digital ways of working A team player with excellent customer service skills If you’d like to play a key role in supporting patient care while working with a welcoming and supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
