Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Plan, build and run ERP and software systems. This role effectively manages operational service, projects, and ad hoc request for business. Enforce business partnering by managing relationship with ICT and business units. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in information technology or related. Management Development Programme Certificate (Advantageous) Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in planning, building, and running systems. Minimum hands on 5 years experience on ERP. Vocational Training: ITIL Business analysis and system analysis Oracle (JDE) HEADLINE KEY RESULT AREAS Management of Information and Communications Technology: Develop, implement, and maintain the ERP/systems. Analyse the current ERP/system and continuously improve. Data manager for the system together with ICT data custodians. Fully execute plan, build and run of the systems. Monitor the performance of the system and improve. Service owner for all systems in area allocated. Record Management and Reporting Administer documentation and manuals. Administer security and control access management. Compile and submit reports and when required. Embrace data analytics and insights to business. Instil value add through information. Communication and Engagement of Stakeholders: Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following as needed (Functional Requirements Documents, Business Requirements Document, GUI, Interface designs). Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Serves as a conduit between the customer community (internal and external) and ICT. Management of Operations and Strategy : Manage system operations, change, incident, business continuity, problem and reporting. Ensure system service delivery and ensure operational stability. Produce relevant artefacts and documents for approval Make decisions on systems based on cost effectiveness, suitability for the business, efficiency, available resources, etc. Conduct feasibility studies and gather information required to address these requirements. Leading and Management of Human Resources : Communicate training needs to users and indicate the benefits of such training. Conduct training sessions Follow up to determine the effectiveness of training. Manage resources in area of responsibility. Effective Management of Systems Governance, risk, and compliance. Managing and mitigating ICT security risks in accordance with business risks, polices and frameworks. Participate in ICT threats and vulnerability assessments. Participate in maintaining an up-to-date Risk Register and perform implementation of action lists.
