Tax Manager - Pietermaritzburg

Responsibilities Supervision and management of the tax supervisor and tax assistants Review of work submitted Delegation of work to subordinates Handling tax, VAT and PAYE audits Liaising with clients and SARS regarding the above-mentioned audit assessments Ensuring that letters are sent to clients for payment Training tax assistants or article clerks when required Monthly billing Dealing with all tax-related queries that may arise Requirements Bachelor of Commerce Degree Postgraduate in taxation would be (Advantageous) Preferably post articles 2-3 years experience in a similar role Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook) Able to meet deadlines and be innovative in a highly pressurised environment Due to the high volume of applications received, only suitable candidates who meet the criteria of this vacancy will be contacted.
