Senior HVAC Engineer

Join to apply for the Senior HVAC Engineer role at KBR, Inc. Responsibilities Prepare HVAC design philosophy and technical specifications for HVAC equipment. Prepare HVAC air flow diagrams and schematic drawings. Prepare HVAC Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) drawings. Carry out heat load and ACMV calculations as per ASHRAE for control rooms, electrical rooms, substations, etc. Awareness of SMACNA. Prepare HVAC ducting layout drawings. Prepare RFQ/TBE for HVAC equipment. Prepare cause and effect diagrams for HVAC. Update HVAC master equipment list. Job Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation Engineering. Minimum 12 years of experience in HVAC/Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation. Knowledge in HVAC system design, including Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and schematic diagrams. Review equipment GA’s, P&ID’s, ducting layouts, and chilled water piping layouts. Preparation of duct supports, ventilation system design and drawings, and air conditioning system design and drawings. Ability to support and coordinate with a team of Engineers and Designers. Knowledge of HVAC design fundamentals. Knowledge of software tools such as AutoCAD, PDMS, SP3D, Navisworks, and Smart Plant Review.
