TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Neptune, New Jersey, 07753! Pay Information $2,290 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: ICU Step Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience in a medical-surgical/telemetry unit required License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: ACLS-AHA, NIHSS, BLS-AHA, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours, Telemetry Must-Have: - Neuro/Stroke/Neurosurgery experience required - Strong medical-surgical/telemetry background Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs. Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care for patients through initial and ongoing assessments. Initiates assessments based on patients' problems or needs and the physician's medical diagnosis. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. Manages care of patients. Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards. Supports the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. Provides patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Floats to units within competency as required. Weekends and holidays may be required as needed. No on-call requirement. Preferred skills include ventilator management, post-cardiac surgery experience, and post-surgical experience.
