Pay Information $2,202 per week About The Position Job Title: Travel RN - L&D Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current RN License Certifications: Labor and Delivery Experience, Postpartum Experience Must-Have: - Labor and Delivery experience - Postpartum experience Description: This position is for a travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery. The unit has 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs with a total of 60 staff members. The night shift staffing includes 1 charge RN, 2-3 Labor and Delivery RNs, and 2-3 Postpartum RNs. The patient ratios are compliant with AWHONN guidelines, with a maximum of 1:1 to 1:2 for Labor and Delivery and 3:1 for postpartum. The unit utilizes Beacon EMR, CPN, and Meditech for patient care documentation. Candidates who are flexible, adaptable, and possess a kind demeanor will be the best fit for this role. The unit has a variety of experiences and equipment that contribute to an enriching environment. Typical procedures performed in this unit include versions, C-sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&Cs.
