The unit has 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs with a total of 60 staff members. The night shift staffing includes 1 charge RN, 2-3 Labor and Delivery RNs, and 2-3 Postpartum RNs. The patient ratios are compliant with AWHONN guidelines, with a maximum of 1:1 to 1:2 for Labor and Delivery and 3:1 for postpartum. The unit utilizes Beacon EMR, CPN, and Meditech for patient care documentation. Candidates who are flexible, adaptable, and possess a kind demeanor will be the best fit for this role.
