Travel Nurse RN - ER/Trauma - $1,892 per week in Conroe, TX

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC Must-Have: Candidates must possess the following certifications: ACLS BLS PALS or ENPC TNCC Description: This is a full-time position within the Emergency Department. The unit has a total of 30 beds and a skilled staff. Daily staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse, 9-10 nurses, 2 techs, and 1 secretary. There are 3 mid shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The night shift staffing mirrors that of the day shift. Patient ratios are 1:4. Equipment used includes bedside monitors, IV infusion devices, and blood administration tools. The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech. Candidates should have experience in conscious and moderate sedation, as well as line insertions. The ideal candidate will have a positive and energetic personality. ED experience is preferred but not required. Additional weekend shifts may be part of the schedule.
