Postdoctoral Researcher Smart Radio Sensors (Applied Radiation) CONTRACT Hartbeespoort Overview The Smart Radio Sensors group invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Applied Radiation Science and/or Nuclear Science. The role involves developing radiation-based solutions for industrial challenges, collaborating with a team of scientists, mentoring postgraduate students, and contributing to grant proposals . The researcher will be expected to report progress in group meetings, present at conferences, and maintain a strong publication record (minimum two papers per year). Requirements PhD in Radiation Science, Nuclear Physics, Applied Radiation , or a closely related field (obtained within the last 5 years). Demonstrated research productivity with at least one peer-reviewed publication in the past 5 years ; additional outputs an advantage. Familiarity with radiation detection applications preferred . Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
