Job Description
Quality/Engineering/Systems: Manage Various Audits: System, Process, Supplier audits. Third Party & Customer Audits: Preparing for and managing audits conducted by customers or third-party certification bodies. Customer and IATF 16949 / VDA 6.3 Self-assessments. Manage the site laboratory and its functions. Customer Database & Customer-Specific Requirements (CSRs). Managing customer expectations, compliance with CSRs, and tracking customer quality performance metrics (PPM, etc.). Develop, maintain and publicise quality records and statistics and ensure that continuous improvement activities are undertaken to focus and improve on negative quality trends or developments. Requalification of Products Including Raw Materials. Periodic revalidation of products and raw materials to ensure continued compliance with specifications. Assess, respond and ensure effective close out of all Non-Conformances, Corrective Action Plans & Reports and Audit Report Findings. Analyse field / customer complaints / trends to establish meaningful preventative and corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement Develop and implement functional value-added quality / product training Support & Assist site Management with Continuous Improvement Processes, Projects, and trends. Timing & Validation plans for product testing and projects. Manage Containment activities, Process Deviations and Product Concessions. Support with PFMEA / CP requirements. Management of PPAP requirements for external customers and suppliers. Work closely with suppliers to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Desired Experience & Qualification Qualifications: Bachelors degree in engineering or related field; certification in quality management is a plus. Minimum 5 years proven experience in quality engineering or quality management roles within the automotive industry or Minimum 5years in manufacturing industry Skills: Strong understanding of quality management systems, standards (e.g., ISO/TS 16949, 9001 & 14001), and regulatory requirements applicable to automotive manufacturing. Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and Statistical Process Control (SPC). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve quality objectives and drive continuous improvement. Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office, statistical analysis software) and quality management systems (e.g., ERP, QMS). High Attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Deadline Driven
