Financial Accountant

We have an amazing opportunity for a Financial Accountant at a dynamic Accounting Firm based in Cape Town! The main purpose of this role is: - To manage a portfolio of clients by preparing financial statements, management accounts, and tax submissions, while ensuring compliance with accounting and tax legislation. The role also offers exposure to tax planning, advisory work, and client engagement. We require a candidate with: BCom Accounting degree or suitable equivalent (compulsory) At least 5 years post-article experience (SAICA or SAIPA) Experience in a small to medium-sized accounting firm Strong working knowledge of accounting and tax legislation and its application Confidence in liaising with clients on financial and tax-related matters Familiarity with preparing and submitting annual tax returns and VAT returns Ability to engage in tax planning to support efficient structuring and compliance CaseWare Working Papers, Pastel, Sage, Xero, GreatSoft, MS Office Suite Should you meet the requirements for this position, please email your CV to finance.vacancy@stand-outstaffing.co.za .
