Maintenance Supervisor (Facilities)

Key Responsibilities: Supervise, coordinate, and support a multi-disciplinary maintenance team (electricians, plumbers, painters, and handymen). Oversee both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across all sites. Communicate progress and updates to management, residents, contractors, and service providers. Monitor and inspect work delivered by the team and external service providers. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards. Manage scheduling, standby duties, and daily team meetings. Contribute to maintenance planning, budgeting, and stock control. Requirements: Trade qualification (NQF6) or equivalent (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, building). Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of OHS legislation and safe working practices. Effective communication skills in both Afrikaans and English (spoken and written). Computer literacy (MS Office; ability to learn internal maintenance systems). Physically fit and able to move easily across multiple sites. Valid drivers license and own reliable transport.
