Job Description
As the Customer Acquisition Lead, youll help introduce parents to a revolutionary AI-based digital product that will help learners to learn faster and more effectively. This is a newly created role at a high-potential start-upan opportunity to help build something new while enjoying flexibility in working hours and in defining the role. Responsibilities Acquire 20 paying parents in the first 3 months. The only critical KPI, which will be re-evaluated upon success. Generate and qualify leads via WhatsApp/Facebook groups, parent communities, and offline networks independently. Pitch the product to parents, handle objections, and close sales. Track leads and conversions in Google Sheets. Provide weekly updates on numbers: leads generated, conversations had and parents closed. Work closely with the founder and development team on feedback from parents to refine messaging. Focus solely on acquisition; all product support/technical issues are handled elsewhere. Qualifications Minimum Matric. A strong passion for marketing, along with a proven track record of successful sales experience, is the key requirement for this role. Experience & Other Requirements At least 1 year in direct sales, tutoring, education services, or other proven sales. Prior work in parent-facing contexts (tutoring companies, edtech, after-school programs, church/school groups, etc). Demonstrated ability to acquire paying customers without a brand behind them. Example: tutors who filled their own schedules. Own car with valid driver's license. Open to traveling and visiting schools and potential clients. Salary The salary is negotiable, with a base of approximately R10,000 per month (depending on hours, flexibility, and other factors). In addition, there is a highly rewarding commission structure. Finding the right fit is the priority, so salary terms are flexible at this stage, within reasonable boundaries.
