Short-Term Insurance Advisor – Personal & Commercial Lines in Swellendam, Western Cape.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Short-Term Insurance Advisor to join our team, specialising in personal and commercial insurance in Swellendam Western Cape . This role involves managing all activities related to short-term insurance sales, client service, and policy administration. Youll be working in a fast-paced environment where versatility, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills are key to success. Key Responsibilities: Advise clients on short-term insurance products across personal and commercial lines Handle quotations, renewals, claims, and policy amendments Build and maintain strong client relationships Use the TIAL system effectively for policy management Prioritize tasks and manage high volumes of work efficiently Negotiate with insurers and clients to ensure optimal outcomes Candidate Requirements: RE5 qualification At least 5 years of practical experience in short-term insurance Proficient in the TIAL system Highly proficient in Afrikaans and English An extrovert with excellent communication skills A team player with a strong yet humble personality Self-motivated and able to take initiative Capable of working under pressure and handling large workloads A natural problem solver with strong negotiation skills Honest, reliable, and able to build trust with colleagues and clients Versatile and adaptable within the short-term insurance environment Comfortable working with clients of all ages and backgrounds If you thrive under pressure, enjoy solving problems, and love working with people, wed love to meet you.
