Class 1 Driver

Daley Recruitment are seeking a Class 1 Driver for our client based in Welwyn Garden City to start this Monday 1st September. As a HGV Class 1 Driver you will be required to drive both class 1 and class 2 vehicles. Class 1 driving will include trunking between 2 locations and class 2 driving will include store deliveries up to 10 a day working with a drivers assistant. HGV Class 1 drivers will work Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with a 60 minute unpaid break. Hours over and above will be paid at time and a half. HGV Class 1 drivers pay rate: £19.00 per hour (pay rate remains the same no matter which class of vehicle is driven) HGV Class 1 Driver requirements: - Full UK licence CE held for at least 6 months - Category C licence held for at least 12 months - Valid CPC and digital tachograph - No more than 6 points with no bans or disqualifications
