Job Description Olaro is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rockford, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/22/2025 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN's- experience with CCU patients Must be available for 13 weeks! Some drips, comfortable with patients 2 days post open heart Shift: 12hr nights, every other weekend and every other holiday BLS/ACLS required Mid-large hospital experience Must live more than 50 miles form facility (permanent address) We are looking for a highly skilled and resilient ICU Nurse to join our critical care team. In this role, you will provide life-saving care to patients facing severe, complex, or rapidly changing health conditions. As an ICU nurse, you’ll be responsible for continuous monitoring, advanced interventions, and close collaboration with physicians and specialists to stabilize and support critically ill patients.\n\n\n\nDaily duties include managing ventilators, administering high-risk medications, interpreting lab and diagnostic data, and responding swiftly to medical emergencies. You'll work with cutting-edge technology and protocols while offering compassionate, individualized care to patients and their families in high-stress situations.\n\n\n\nThis position requires sharp clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, and emotional strength. You’ll care for patients recovering from trauma, surgery, sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac events, and more.
