(Y/N): no call Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities? yes Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2 years Exp highly Preferred: Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Davinci Xi) Cases Common Cases: Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (crani, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, GU/GYN First-timers accepted: Yes Certs REQ NBSTSA (MUSC does NOT accept NCCT), BLS Radiation Badge REQ: Yes, radiation badge must be provided by agency Trauma Level REQ: Level 1 trauma Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N): Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: Yes, will be considered one case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate. RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift Hospital Highlights The Main Operating Room is within a level-one, academic trauma center. There are 21- OR suites which cover all surgical specialties, to include; Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. Please know that you may be expected to staff the full variety of cases that the Main OR supports. The nursing teams consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologist. RN s are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The Main OR is a busy and dynamic nurse driven, Magnet designated department, that provides cutting-edge technology to the citizens of SC.
