Travel Surg Tech - $1,522 per week in Rochester, NY

Job Title: Cardiac Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Cardiac Surgery Duration: 15 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 hours per shift Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an operating room, preferably at a level 1 trauma center. License: New York Tech License required Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: - Tech License (NY License ONLY) - BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Two years of experience - Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma preferred - Cardiac experience Description: The role involves caring for a wide variety of patients in the operating room. Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastic surgery, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, gynecology, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. There are advanced robotic systems utilized across multiple services. The surgical team includes specialties related to transplants. Cardiac experience is required, including scrubbing for CABG, TAVRs, and valves (both minimally invasive and sternotomies). Experience with heart failure procedures such as VADs, Impella insertion, and ECMO is required. Transplant experience is ideal but not mandatory.
