PT School Administrator

My Kings Lynn based client is looking for a proactive and highly organised Administrator to join their team on a PART-TIME, temporary basis (initially) to help ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations at one of their SEMH schools. This is a key role supporting staff, pupils, and parents with a varied range of administrative duties. Key Role Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. Manage the school diary, post, and email enquiries. Maintain accurate pupil and staff records using Bromcom. Support teachers with class registration and absence reporting. Handle payments, petty cash, and financial records. Provide admin support for Annual Reviews and meetings. Coordinate school lunch orders and free school meal records. Submit Census and payroll data to Business Support. Update pupil roll and staff sickness records. Assist with Return to Work paperwork and requisitions. Monitor and distribute school orders and supplies. Act as a named First Aider and GDPR Champion. What you'll need to succeed Experience in school administration or similar. Strong IT skills (Bromcom experience is a plus). Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Willingness to undertake training and First Aid certification. Knowledge of GDPR and data protection practices.
