Job Description
A Manufacturing Specialist with a broad technical understanding of electronic and mechanical development, good knowledge of various manufacturing methods and strong client engagement skills will join a thriving Technical Consultancy. A great salary package on offer with hybrid working. You’ll focus on complex electronic PCB assemblies and mechanical housings, incorporating complex RF systems. Experience of manufacture for the space sector is highly beneficial. The Manufacturing Specialist will take responsibility for: Growing the manufacturing capability and integrating it into the overall R&D development. Driving the manufacturing processes and keeping up to date with the latest technologies. Supporting Design for Manufacture and Assembly and transfer to manufacture processes for low to mid volume products. Managing supply chain partners. The ideal Manufacturing Specialist will bring: A minimum of an Engineering related Degree. A good understanding of various manufacturing methods and equipment, particularly in low to mid volume products incorporating complex RF systems. Literacy in electronic and mechanical design and development. Experience of working closely with Clients ideally within a consultancy type environment. Proven experience of working closely with supply chain partners and contract manufacturers. Exposure to the space sector (ESA / ECSS standards) is highly beneficial.
