Information Rights Lead

One of our government clients is looking for an experienced Information Rights Lead to join them for a 6month contract. They are offering £490 per day Outside IR35. This role involves providing expert advice and support on complex information rights cases, including FOI and data protection matters, and leading on high-level internal reviews and ICO complaints. Our client is based near Milton Keyne s - commutable from Northampton, East Midlands, Bedford, Luton or Central London. They offer hybrid working, this role will require a minimum of 3 days onsite working per week. This role is working in a Security Cleared environment. You will need to be SC or DV (developed vetting) cleared or eligible to undertake SC or DV Security Clearance. Skills and Experience: Essential: Exceptional knowledge of information rights legislation (FOIA. DPA/GDPR). Practitioner certificate in data protection and Information rights Extensive experience in data privacy laws and regulations Exceptional stakeholder management and communications skills The ability to interpret and apply official guidance and case law to inform decisions on cases. Desirable: Central Government experience. Ability to work in a demanding environment and adapt to changing priorities.
