Electrician

Industrial Electrician – Substation Project (Norwich) Anglian Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a major Substation project in Norwich, due to start early October 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrician with proven industrial and substation experience to secure long-term work on a high-profile project. The Role: * Installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems within a substation environment * Working from drawings and technical plans to carry out industrial installation works * Cable pulling, glanding, terminating, and containment installation * Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health and safety regulations and National Grid requirements * Working as part of a team on a busy construction site Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have: * EUSR National Grid Authorisation (valid tickets – essential) * Previous experience working on industrial electrical projects, ideally within substations or heavy power environments * Recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent) * Current JIB / ECS card * Full PPE and own tools * Strong awareness of health and safety and ability to work to strict standards Details: * Location: Norwich * Start Date: Early October 2025 * 10 hour days / 7 days a week * Contract Type: Ongoing project * Pay: Excellent rates available, negotiable depending on experience and tickets This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a growing, construction-focused recruitment agency that specialises in M&E labour supply.
