They are a tight-knit and experienced team that values precision, professionalism, and long-term development - making this an ideal place to learn and grow your career. ________________________________________ The Opportunity: As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you'll be supported by an experienced commercial team while gaining hands-on exposure to all aspects of the QS role. You'll assist in the cost management of high-end residential projects from pre-construction through to final account, while building your technical knowledge and understanding of the super-prime sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is either newly qualified or has some site/commercial experience and is eager to develop a long-term QS career within a highly specialised area of the industry. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: •Assisting with the preparation of cost plans, estimates, and tender submissions •Supporting the procurement of subcontractors and materials •Assisting with valuations, variations, and monthly cost reporting •Helping to manage project budgets and track financial performance •Attending site meetings and liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants •Maintaining commercial documentation and assisting with final accounts •Learning and applying contractual knowledge (JCT contracts, variations, etc.) •Supporting the preparation of project handover and client documentation ________________________________________ Ideal Candidate Profile: •Degree (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Construction Management •A genuine interest in high-end residential construction and/or heritage refurbishment •Some prior experience in a commercial or site-based construction role (placement, internship, or graduate) preferred •Good numeracy and communication skills •Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other standard office software •Highly organised, detail-focused, and eager to learn •Able to commute to Central London and travel to project sites as needed Gabriele Omarini (phone number removed) (url removed)
