The Role: Construction Project Manager The Location: Oxford Employment: contract The Company: A forward-thinking company with experience delivering first class projects within educational and public sectors. The role will see you working on a wide range of exciting projects covering a large fit out project in Oxford. The company offer the opportunity to deal with the senior management directly getting answers quickly and the opportunity to grow with the team. Taking pride in everything, they do from stakeholder interaction through planning all the way to the final touches that makes each project special. We are now actively recruiting for a Project Manager to join this excellent company. The company have a healthy relationship with suppliers, sub-contractors and labour bringing a respectful feel to large projects ensuring everyone works together to deliver. We are looking for an individual who is looking to join a company for the foreseeable and progress within as they grow further in the region. The Role: This is a Project manager roll and is open to individuals with a number of years under their belt or. You will need to have some experience on site and have a understanding of the construction process. As the Project Manager you will ensure the site is ran to the highest of standards. You will be expected to manage sub-contractors, trades and sections of the build while learning from more experienced members of the team. You will have an overview of general site activities, health and safety, sub-contractors, trades and labour. Dealing with clients, engineers and architects. Duties & Responsibilities * Manage the day to day running of the Projects * Liaising with clients to clarify project requirements, scope, and objectives * Identifying and planning for risks and potential barriers to project delivery * Liaising with the finance team to raise procurement requests * Liaising with the operations team to book and manage resourcing requests * Creating project plans and purchasing schedules, including anticipated logistics * Checking in and liaising with clients to make sure their needs are met as the project evolves Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
