Stock Condition Surveyor

Build Maintain Recruit are working with a leading consultancy based in the South West who are looking for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join the team on a contract basis. The Role As a Stock Condition Surveyor, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of housing services. Your surveys and insights will directly influence investment and maintenance programmes, ensuring homes remain safe, compliant, and welcoming for residents. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out and manage detailed building surveys * Record, analyse, and report survey findings * Use survey data to guide investment and maintenance decisions * Ensure compliance with current building regulations and safety protocols * Work collaboratively across teams to support smooth operations * Provide outstanding customer service to residents About You We’re looking for someone with: * A degree (or equivalent) in Building Surveying or a related field * Expertise in building pathology and diagnosing defects * Strong knowledge of building regulations, health & safety standards * Excellent communication, reporting, and customer service skills * The ability to manage time, resources, and priorities effectively What’s on Offer * Competitive hourly rate * Temporary contract with the possibility of extension * A supportive and inclusive working environment Ready to take the next step?
