Quantity Surveyor

First Task are delighted to be working with one of our key clients to source a Quantity Surveyor for their busy team in West Lothian. Our client is a well-established contractor with long-standing client relationships. Reporting to the company’s Commercial Manager, the ideal candidate will come from a general build or fit-out background. Current projects include new build and refurbishment schemes with values ranging from £150k to £4m. Key Accountabilities * Commercial management of multiple live schemes (including site measurement, bonus calculations, subcontract procurement, valuations, and internal reporting). * Agreement and negotiation of final accounts. * Driving best value and maximising profitability across all packages. Experience & Qualifications * Minimum of a relevant BSc or equivalent qualification (with at least 3 years PQE). * Proven experience managing your own projects.
