Remote Service Engineer

Remote Service Engineer – Caithness & Sutherland Hourly rate: £18.00 – £20.00 (depending on experience) Our client is looking for a Remote Service Engineer to join their team in the Caithness and Sutherland area of the Highlands. This role is paid door-to-door and offers the chance to work across a wide area, assisting with breakdowns and servicing for our valued customers in the northern Highlands, with occasional travel to the Western Isles and Orkney for day or overnight trips. What we’re looking for: Minimum SVQ Level 2 qualification Experience in servicing, basic diagnostics and repairs on plant and/or agricultural machinery A proactive, problem-solving approach with the ability to work independently Willingness to travel as required What we offer: Competitive hourly rate starting at £18.00 (rising to £19.00–£20.00 for highly experienced candidates) Door-to-door pay Ongoing training and support, with the chance to develop alongside our experienced engineer The opportunity to work across a varied region with a wide customer base This role would also suit someone at a more junior level, as you’ll benefit from strong support and plenty of training opportunities to help you progress and build your skills.
